Reminder that this Thursday 3/22 is the BMA Colorado YPs Signature Event Series: Cocktails and Conversations!  Hosted by Harmonic Media and Cohn Marketing, the night includes a tour of Harmonic’s facility, a live demo of the printing process, intimate conversations with peers and executives, and of course food and beverages.

Monday Round-up

Today seems like one of those days where the amount of information being flashed at us from the interwebs is greater than our Monday brains can handle!  Here are some notable highlights:

• SXSW Interactive 2012 8 crucial takeaways as provided by Huffington Post (#1 “Don’t launch at South by Southwest”)
• It’s Manning Time! Denver was abuzz when news released that Peyton Manning has chosen the Denver Broncos as his new team.  What does this mean for Tebow? 

• 200,000+ people were in attendance at Denver’s downtown St. Patrick’s Day parade on Saturday. How many of you party-goers were drinking green beer at 7am?
• For anyone who felt left-out and “stuck” in the beautiful and dry 70+ degree weather in Denver, the Westword gives us the music and party scene coverage in their SXSW Travelogue
• Amidst all of the March Madness, the CU Buffs get noted with one of the 6 most shocking upsets in their win against UNLV in the NCAA tournament, only to fall 17 points short to Baylor on Saturday
• This sociopolitical campaign started by two Israeli designers received massive Facebook attention over the weekend and is using the kickstarter-like site, indiegogo to gain more awareness and funding.

Cocktails & Conversations at Harmonic Media!

After the great success of our initial Cocktails & Conversations (C&C) event, the BMA Colorado Young Professionals are kicking-off a series of C&C events starting Thursday, March 22nd!  Join us for a night of networking and intimate conversations with the marketing team at Harmonic Media as well as Cohn Marketing.

C&C is a forum for making valuable connections with upper level marketing executives, a perfect setting for any young marketer in Denver looking to connect with their peers, learn more about the marketing industry, mingle with senior level marketing executives, and enjoy a fun night of food, conversation, and cocktails!

Young Professionals Meet-up at Stranahan’s Whiskey!

Join us at the Rackhouse Pub inside of the world-class Stranahan’s Whiskey distillery to network with young marketers in your industry and to learn about the best whiskey in Colorado.  We’ll be taking you on a full tour of the distillery where you’ll learn about the process, ask questions, and even get to taste some of the Colorado’s best selections of distilled spirits.
